Dr Vilas Relan, though a Critical Obstetrician and Gynecologist by profession, is a Financial Planner purely out of choice as the same has been very close to his heart. He started his journey as a financial planner in a very subtle manner. From a part time, knowledgeable friendly advisor only for close friends and relatives to a structured, professional financial planner, his journey has been a natural, seamless one.

Born in a middle class business family from an ex-serviceman, financial management and discipline are an inborn characteristic inherited by him. He, himself being an ex Army Officer, disciplined approach to whatever he does has been his hallmark, and the same goes true for his Financial Advisory Services as well, a quality which has helped our clients immensely.

Dr Vilas Relan, our Chief Financial Consultant, has earned his Graduate and Post Graduate Medical Degrees from prestigious and renowned Mumbai University. While anyone, with this achievement, would be tempted to go for the greener pastures, his natural inclination towards the most disciplined services was compelling enough for him to opt for his Adventurous yet interesting stint with the Indian Army. Having served the Nation as an Indian Army Officer, when he stepped into the Private Healthcare Sector, he firmly believed in the fact that Enormity of Dreams is an absolute must for one to scale the mountain peaks. While accepting the challenges, and subsequently accomplishing them successfully, of being the only Critical Care Obstetrician to a million population in the surrounding areas, establishing the first Tertiary Level Healthcare Facility of the area, he realized the prevailing Financial illiteracy as one of the important impediments to comprehensive care and growth.

What has been an astounding observation is the fact that “FINANCIAL ILLITERACY AFFLICTED ALL ALIKE” be it educated ones or otherwise, affluent ones n not so affluent, salaried and self employed ones, seniors n young ones… there was no exception. Almost everyone, though experts in their respective domains, were lacking in the basics of Financial Management and Financial Planning. This observation triggered the sowing of a seed which today would conceptualize into an Institution dedicated towards providing Scientific yet Ethical solutions to the problems associated with Financial Illiteracy, which for long have remained neglected.

Dr Vilas Relan resolved to educate himself towards achieving Financial Literacy so as to have proficency in formulating the Financial Plans. He accordingly, went on to complete various certificate courses such as Investment Planning Specialist, Risk and Estate Planning Specialist, Retirement and Tax Planning Specialist, and to top it all … earned his Certified Financial Planner Title from the Prestigeous FPSB. The desire to share this knowledge and the plans that were designed to achieve his own life goals, for the benefits of all, within his sphere and beyond, has been the motto behind the making of this institution.
